World Champion 2012

In 2012 Natale took part in the World Championship in Salsomaggiore Terme and ranks first in the “pizza in pan” category.

The winning pizza could only be called … Mondiale! Since then, the winning pizza, stuffed with Parmesan, cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and basil, has been part of the menu and is one of the most popular.

A record-breaking pizza

On 19 June 2004 Natale participated in the creation of the longest pizza in the world in Contone in Switzerland, where many pizza chefs from all over the world worked for a whole day, side by side, churning out a pizza of 160.75 meters, which entered in the Guinness Book of Records

The world pizza championships

For 5 consecutive years from 2000 to 2004 Natale participated in the world championship of pizza in the pan, which takes place every year in Salsomaggiore Terme.

In 2000 Natale participated accompanied by the couple Andrea Palazzo and Ilaria Beschizza, then bakers and now well-known pizza chefs from Villafranca, who were responsible for the creation of an impressive choreography, which served as the backdrop to the pizza made in Lunigiana. Together they won fourth place, at the 9th world championship in Salsomaggiore Terme, for the best presentation accompanied by pizza.
